Windows Server Standard 2022 – system requirements

Processor: 64-bit, 1.4 GHz x64-compatible with support for NX and DEP, CMPXCHG16b, LAHF/SAHF, and PrefetchW.
RAM: Minimum 512 MB (2 GB required for the Desktop Experience installation).
Hard Disk Space: At least 32 GB for Server Core installation.
Network: Ethernet adapter with at least 1 Gbps bandwidth, compliant with PCI-Express architecture.
Additional requirements: UEFI 2.3.1c-based system and firmware that supports secure boot; Trusted Platform Module; A graphics device and monitor that supports Super VGA (1024 x 768) or higher resolution.
Some features, such as BitLocker Drive Encryption, require a Trusted Platform Module (TPM). If your computer uses a TPM, it must meet the following requirements:
- Hardware-based TPMs must implement version 2.0 of the TPM specification.
- TPMs that implement version 2.0 must have an EK certificate that is pre-provided to the TPM by the hardware manufacturer or can be downloaded by the device at first boot.
- TPMs that implement version 2.0 must ship with SHA-256 PCR banks and implement PCR 0 through 23 for SHA-256. It is acceptable to ship TPMs with a switchable PCR bank that can be used for both SHA-1 and SHA-256 measurements.
- The UEFI option to disable the TPM is not required.
